Ghostbusters' move from VU Games to Atari will result in a scarier action title including a few more shocks, that's the word from developer Terminal Reality, who were nearly left in the cold by the Activision-Vivendi merger.

CVG report that the extra time the developers now have with the game (until June neat year), will mean they have the opportunity to add a few more scares to the experience.

"We added some more creepy elements, a couple of more puzzle elements… we feel that the combat is in a very solid spot," offered Drew Haworth.

He continues, revealing that the extra time has "allowed us to go back and tweak and see ‘oh, this experience would be enhanced here by adding more scares, more cooldown areas… - pacing basically. We also upgraded some of the in-game cinematics."

More Ghostbusting soon.
