Family Ski sequel gets snowboards
Out in early 2009 from Atari
A new Family Ski title is on the way from Atari, we learn this week, the publisher confirming that Family Ski & Snowboard for the Wii will arrive in February next year.
Yes, you've guessed it, the addition of the snowboarding bit of that title will mean that developer Namco Bandai are busily adding support for the Wii's balance board, which will come into its own during the boarding parts of the game, and will also be employed for uni-skiing; as in the original game.
As before, the Wiimote and Nunchuck will combine to control tricks and other moves while you sway on the board, the developers adding two new mountains to experience, including pistes for players of varying skill levels.
More news on the new Family Ski soon.
